Hey guys,

I was trying to get some practice, so I used my brother. You can tell how thrilled he was lol. Anyway, I've been playing around with PP, here are two samples. I'd really appreciate some input and suggestions. PP is tough stuff.

Shot with a 5D and 24-105L.

I prefer the 2nd one. It's just a preferance though, I've always like less saturated photos more.

I feel like #1 has too much of a yellow tint going on that's really apparent in the wall behind him, if you corrected that it might get my vote.

I'll see if I can fix that.

I don't remember, I was kind of all over the place with adjustments. How do you think I should adjust the contrast?

Any tips for making the photo "pop"?

Number two looks flat to me, I would adjust the contrast up until it looks a bit less flat. I don't know the software you are using, so that is all I can say about it.

I'm using CS5. here's the second pic with a little more contrast.

I also increased the first pic's exposure. Is it better than my first edit or should I keep it the way it was before?
