Last year the S5IS P&S

Today the 7D with lenses: 10-22, 24-105, 100-400
plus the 430EX II
plus the Manfrotto 679B monopod with 234RC head
plus the Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod with 488RC2 head

Also had to have the Epson R1900 printer and the Epson V500 scanner accompanied with an Intuos 4 medium tablet. Fortunately the desktop and laptop are doing just fine with all this stuff.

A year ago I had a Canon 10D and an EF 28-80 lens. Which both I had since about 2004. I figured it was time to upgrade. Now I have a 5D Mark II and the 50L and 24L II. Couldn't be happier!

Blame it on the 1D4. Having a camera that is workable at ISO6400 and higher suddenly meant shooting below f/2.8 and struggling with inadequate DOF was no longer necessary.

So I sped up my zooms
17-40 => 16-35 II
24-105 => 24-70
and got rid of all the primes.

I still have the 5D + 24-105 as my travel camera, but that is slowly becoming my 11 year old daughter's camera.
