Managed to get a couple of shots from Sunday's game edited during study breaks. The field was sloppy during the first half from the mornings rain. I hope you enjoy them.

Shot with a 7D, 300 f/2.8 IS, and 135L.

Very nice. All great shots. My fav is #4. The effect of the back lighting is sweet. :D

Nice work, post more.

Just a tip, if you post your images at 1024 px on the long side they will have more impact because everybody knows bigger is always better.

the light falloff in the b/g makes that one awesome. in the second, looks like you might have been the intended receiver! great work!

I'll post more when I can. I usually post the 6xx size because the 1024 is too be for my 15" monitor.

How did you get access as close to the field as you did?

If you have the money, I would definitely spring for the 1 series. There are several features it has that are worth the extra cost over the 7D.

Nice shots! Where were you on the field when taking these photos? I would have thought that the 135L would have been a little short for a football game, but you made it work!

Yeah I have field access. I think the first shot was with the 135L + 1.4x. The last was with the 135L, and the rest were with the 300 2.8.
