There is a 40d which was just listed on Ebay for $449.00 BUY NOW, "or make best offer", described to be in "mint" condition.

There apparently is one pending offer and be aware the seller's Feedback is 97.5%.

According to Ebay, it's legit and still covered under Ebays Buyer Protection... If I had the extra $$ I might consider it...
