You all crack me up. I told her she would not like the 20d and all that photoshopping techniques she would need to learn. Either way, I will have a 20D and whatever I get to replace it. It's a no lose situation for me.

The 7D and the 100-400 are going to be an amazing combination. If you like to shoot sports you'll be in hog heaven with that combo.

Thank you. bw!

I feel your pain... here's the sorry scenario I live with:

Mom is 73 and lives in Texas (winter) / Indiana (Summer). I've become her personal tech support hotline for her laptop, camera and new cell phone. It's not uncommon for me to get 1-2 calls per week and the conversation revolves around her describing her issue and me telling her how to fix it (no kidding). I keep the PDF manuals for her phone and camera on my various computers for easy reference when she calls. For computer issues, we reached the point where she just describes whats on her screen and I walk her through the steps to undo whatever she did wrong.

I can tell you the 7D and 100-400 is amazing!
