About a month ago, I purchased a refurbished 50mm 1.4f from Canon...I am using it on the 5DM2...after about 2 weeks, it started sporadically just freezing up in AF, and I have to switch to MF, take a few shots, then go back...had a photo shoot yesterday where it did this at least 10 times

Any suggestions?

Thanks ahead

Nothing brilliant here, but I'd give canon a call.
Does it just not respond to you half pressing the shutter, or does it stop focusing in mid-focus?

A know issue with the 50mm 1.4, it happens alot to the older lenses. If you have warranty, send it back if not... sell it to me :) Good luck!
