Love the Deering Goodtime banjo. I play a Deering myself, but it's an open-back Goodtime with the newer headstock. Cool shot. :)

Very cool Brett. I wish I could play the banjo. You should check out some of their music. May not be your cup of tea, but it's worth a look. http://www.myspace.com/thecalamitycubes (external link)

Or Joey's (the one playing the banjo) solo stuff here. http://www.myspace.com/dirtysunshineclub (external link)

It's my cup of tea, alright. I love all kinds of music. These guys look like a good time to see live.

I've played guitar since I was 15, and in the spring of this year we went to a festival where there was a bluegrass band. I've always loved the sound of banjo, and this guy was particularly good, so I decided I had to have a banjo. I've been learning it ever since. I play more of a fingerpicked/bluegrass style than these guys, but their music is a rollicking good time.

Ask them why the heck they're still on Myspace.

thanks!!! :D

yah no doubt about.... that lens has changed the dynamic of my shooting... I just love, love, and love the 35L/Sig85 combination... I can shoot anything with those two lenses.

The Sigma 85mm has been so good I literally have taken it off maybe 4-5 times since I got it for my 35L and I have had it since release of the first batch... so a while now.

Im glad your enjoying yours.... the sig 85 really is a faster focussing 85LII imho... but dont tell that to the canon fanboi's, lol.

Glad you enjoyed them Brett. They are a blast to watch live, I try to make it to all their shows. I have no idea why they're still on myspace. You play in any bands?
