My Drumset

All TAMA drums, all zildjian cymblas, Remo heads.

For anyone into drums, 2 bass drums, 1 piccolo snare, 1 standard snare (I use it for the aux snare), 4 mouted toms, 2 floor toms, 3 roto toms, and 2 mini timbales.

Very low light situation, and the flash is not in yet. So natural light, and very cramped space haha.

Ah yes the massive drumset lol. 1st one is a little washed out looking. I like the 2nd and 3rd ones best, I wish the words Iron Cobra were in focus for the 3rd one though. But good series can't wait to see what they look like once the flash is in. I know that basement and it definitely has some really ****ty lighting so you did a good job with what was there.

I'm jealous. Nice setup.

Are you sure it is legal to use a Pearl rack with Tama drums?

I should take some pictures of mine - I have one of the prototype kits Tama built right after they bought out the Camco name. It is a 10-piece kit in all jazz sizes, 18 and 20 bass... It has been quite a while since I played it as I switched to bass about 12 years ago.

hahaha well played.

man you should know, how expensive those tama power racks are. got a pretty good deal on this one. i think the 3 sides were $289 and then another $89 for a fourth side. Saves so much time at shows. But funny watching peoples reactions when we have the rack pulled out straight and walk it into the room or whatever.

And yeah mean, post some pics.

My specs so far as drums are 14x4 snare, 14x 5.5 snare, toms (forget depths and im lazy on looks ups haha) 8,10,12,14,16, and 18. Roto's are 6,8,10, and the tymps are 6 and 8. I lvoe the versatility of having so many drums to play any style I want. And yeah, post some pics. I love seeing other sets.

haha, set can be bigger, and photography could be better

rush, dream theater, metallica, haha. a lot of the older stuff, even though I am really young. Gotta know your roots.

Looks great.
I'm tired of seeing nothing but four piece kits all over the place.
I have two Tama Starclassic Performers that sound fantastic. I also have the Chrome Cobra you have.

+1 on that...I play a 4-piece for church since that's what they have set up, but oh how I enjoy having a variety of drums and sounds. I don't like it when people claim less is more, cuz a talented drummer can make 10 drums sound better than 4 any day of the week.

thanks man! I would love to get some starclassics here soon. But those chrome cobras are awesome! so smooth. been great for the fast stuff

QFT. I have played smaller pieced sets many times. Though it is fun, I just feel limited sometimes. And not only because I HAVE to play on a big kit, but the possibilities are there. Like having two rides and two hi hats on my kit. Awesome for double bass grooves on one hi hat, then switch to single bass with open hi hat stuff immediately.

oh, and just for the sake of it. getting all new coated white remo emperor heads for the toms for christmas. and another splash. i will probably put that splash over the second mounted tom. seem to have a theme of putting all my splashes over the toms. easy access.

I'm dizzy just thinking about trying to play that spread.

and to think it started about 7 or 8 years back with a simple 5 piece. More fun than you could ever imagine

Nice kit... I need to do a shoot of my Pearl Masters... I have pics of my other kit from forever ago before I got into photography but i'd rather take new ones! hah
