And if you try hard enough..you can be rewarded with this..tack sharp at 1/60th!!!!!!!!(handhel​d obviously..)

I had two primes at the event..but i just could not put that 70-200 down...even though its not made for night concerts..i made it work :)

just got my 70-200 f/4 USM non IS in the mail.. took a few sample shots and Im STOKED....

now waiting for this damn filter to arrive..

Friends, this lens is absolutely fantastic, and the images you fellows post in this thread show it.

I wanted to share an image taken last week which is one of a larger series of Raptors on a Park here in Ecuador. The whole series (about 15 pictures, hopefully more coming) can be found here: Parque Cóndor - Birds of Prey reserve. They are all with the 70-200 f4L.

Since flooding the forum with the same images is frowned upon, I'll leave just one here... but, if you are curious and interested in such birds, follow the link, there are many others there :).

Recently-built "Tornado" at high speed on a frosty morning. Taken on 40D, 1/500, f/5.6, 320ISO, and the 70-200 at 70mm.
