Cheap Canon E1 on eb@y: Real of Knockoffs?

I've been in the market for one of these, and ran across an auction for one, new, that is less than 10 dollars shipped. What are the chances that these are real?

I think they are real, and that's how much they should be from the beginning

If it's fake, I can't tell. Been using it on my 7d for almost a year now.

More than likely it is a knock-off. The seller ships from Hong Kong. However, most of the knock-off accesories I have purchased worked out just fine.
