Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM

It's funny that the re-edit has gotten such mixed reviews... Some people love it and some hate it! Haha

What kind of pp style do you call this?

Well, I wanted it to have a kind of expired film feel, but I also just like messing around with stuff and creating something new... I guess there's not really a style. The closest thing would probably be something like "Digital Cross-Processing."

Check out the siggy 24mm f/1.8. It looks decent and can focus very close to get some cool perspectives.

I've heard some good things about those sigma primes, but I've sworn them off as a company. Totally done with them for good.

I know how that is...I've had a good lens or two from them but they came at the cost of a lot of screaming and returns. On a good note, just sold my 35L and I'll be ordering the 50L tomorrow.

It's interesting to see that some of you are selling your 35Ls for 50L. I enjoy them both very much, but use 35L more because of the focal length. I prefer 50L's rendering more though. If I could have a 35mm that renders like 50L I'd be in heaven. Then I think I'd sell most of my other lenses.

im complete opposite. im selling for the 85mm.

i prefer to working if longer focal lengths.

diy ring light. 36 inch diameter

I'm currently in the process of making one of these! Wasnt going to go as big as 36" though. How do you find it to handle? Have you got a pic of it? I'm currently a bit stuck on how i'm going to tripod mount it.

I got a couple shots published in this new monthly magazine thing... This guy was awesome!

Ah ok, thats not too bad. I work in a furniture making place and i'm trying to work out a decent way of tripod mounting one of these and also looking into how you can make them with portability in mind. I had some rings done for a template but even just as timber they were very awkward to handle.

walmguy palma and others, marvellous pictures. Really makes me want to get out shooting again, too bad I got no time lately.

keep the work up, your pictures are just beautiful!
