Hi Guys,

My 17-55 2.8 has gathered a few specs of dust inside the lens.

I've heard that this is quite common for this lens, but I was just wondering how can you clean dust that seems to be inside?

Thanks.

I followed the instructions and cleaned my 17-55 very easily.

Canon will also do it for about $85. That's what I would do as I don't trust myself opening up my camera gear - that's just me though.

IF they don't affect your photos why fret about it?

The week after you clean it - they will be back to haunt you.

Ignore it.
