the Ranger RX Speed is heavy as hell. You carry it with the head as well, so add the head weight.
I have always been a sporty spice (yeah I know it's hot) but with me being 195 and 6"4 (benching 275), it is a PAIN to carry the Ranger IF you have to carry it. I use a roller bag, and that's the only way if you have to walk for longer than 10 minutes. Add a c-stand and a 20 pound sand bag and you are set for a great work out before the shoot!

Come on Misha! You know you love a good workout.

I do this to stay in shape...

I've not complained about carrying the Ranger for a while now. :)

This may be a weird question for this group-
Does it matter if your strobes that are exactly the same model (BXRI500) do not both power up at the same speed? After an exposure the beeps are not at the same time. One strobe is always a little slower than the other.
Any concerns over this or is this just to picky?
Thanks--

I thought I'd been *fairly* good at keeping mine under control. Clearly, I've been AWESOME.
