In case you didn't know:

Greg, if you want your 1st or 2nd pic back, just right click on it and do "Save Image As" - be sure to save it to your desktop so you can find it later.

#1 - It has room, rule of thirds and makes me think of Christmas :)

The first one for me. The snowy environment is what makes the photo and I think showing more of it in this case works better. It does need to be to be brightened a little imo.

I'm going with #1 as well. I like seeing the Junco with his background and the branches hanging down around him which are rather cropped out in #2.
