It's paved most of the way. It is still dirt for the final mile or two to the top, but mostly paved. It was a fun road when I drove it a couple years ago in my GTI.:D

Very nice photo. Where is this? I also really like your watermark - a LOT - but I think the "p" in beginning of "photography" is ... hard to read in that area (even though you know exactly what it means..)

I've only driven it the once - loved it. Could see why the rental car companies banned their cars from being on it till it was sealed... tourists + gravel + winding mountain road = badly damaged car (and/or dead/injured tourist)
