Oh man those pre-grab shots are something. I went to Conowingo Dam in MD about 3 weeks ago and spent 3 days from sun up to sun down there trying to get a shot like this. On the last day after spending more hours than I care to remember right on the water freezing my butt off I decided to try another area further up the river and about an hour later an eagle made 2 hits on the water right in front of where I had spent so many hours. There's always next time. Excellent shots Andrew.

#1 is great but I like all 4. Love the light in these and I can only dream of getting fishing captures like this. One day I plan on going up your way (14) but I'm not sure I could stand the cold.

Very good set, Andrew. I too like those 'pre-grab' shots a lot. Good shooting, well timed.

Great shots as usual Andrew, which is not a good thing for me because it's making me think of stuffing all my gear in the van and driving out tomorrow. I've already got plans going for Jan 9 and the weekend after, but seeing as how guys are already going out and getting shots I want to be there.

How many would you say are out there?
