I spent two weeks in Isreal, mostly around Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Masada and the Sea of Galilee. Although I enjoyed my time there, I really enjoyed being in Jerusalem, for it is thick with history. Here are just a few of my favorites.

A failed attempt at a zoom burst... Too bad I didn't have a tripod with me this trip!

Great looking pictures. I really like the Church of Nativity shot. The sun rays through the window adds perfect ambience.

I walked into the church and was immediately drawn to that section... the rays were shining down on the entry point into the grotto of the nativity (the part of the 'cave' where jesus was born, which is under the church).

I was standing at the lookout point across from the great city and there was a photo shoot going on and i thought, i can 'play' too. I have no idea what they were really doing, probably some kind of advertisement .. unfortunately i did not make it to eilat... i spent the vast majority of my time in and around jerusalem area...

Great series.

In the first shot, is the Opera House the tall building or the one of the lower buildings in the foreground?
