How does one lean towards a camera that doesn't even exist yet? How could you know that it's going to be "better" than the Mark II? While you're waiting for it to come out (if it ever does) you're missing a lot of photos...

Due to Canon's release history, and some of the unconfirmed (yes, not reliable) reports floating around the internet, I am assuming (yup assuming) that there will be one out sometime in 2011. With some of the improvements of Canon's other bodies ie. the 7d, I would imagine they would include some of the newer technology in their latest camera. "Better", that's a word that has a different meaning for everyone. To me, a better camera is a camera that has more functions that I use, and help me to produce better quality work. Will the Mark 2 suffice, sure. I have no complaints about my current 5d, other than the ability to micro adjust my lenses, and shoot video, I have no complaints. I am in the market for a second body, that's all. I am not really in a rush, other than the "want" for a new tool sooner rather than later. Will I wait for the Mark IV, X, etc. No! I would realistically like this second body, which again will have to get me through many years to come, before the end of 2011. Just doing some brainstorming, and asking for opinions, that's all. I also don't feel I have missed, nor will miss any potential photos! Videos, maybe, but I do have a seperate video camera if I really want to shoot video.
