I had a few questions on how I took this photo so I will try and explain as best I can.

It took 3 photos to get this shot.

Photo 1 was a portrait of my face which I cropped only the eyes.

Photo 2 was a portrait of me holding the iphone in front of my eyes with Photo 1 on the screen.

Photo 3 (final) was a portrait of me holding the iPad infront of my face with Photo 2 on the screen. I had to put my other hand behind the iPad so it looked like I was still holding the iPhone.

Obviously I had an assistant to take the photos for me and give me directions so that it all lines up.

Thanks for reading!

Cheers guys.
If anyone was interested. I had to adjust shutter speed to match the light coming from the iPad/iPhone, then I used a 430EXII on 1/4 power bare into the ceiling to light the rest of the scene.

This is the first shot I came up with before also including the iPhone. It was much harder to line this one up.

The sun went behind a cloud after I took the original shot, the sunlight was then much duller than the iPad screen so I had to use an umbrella outside the window to simulate the sunlight in the background. Its over cooked slightly and the colours don't match perfectly but you get the idea.

"Hey Farva, what's that restaurant you like with all the goofy $@!t on the walls?"
"Shananigans, you're talking about shenanigans, right?"
I know I'm going to be bored enough to try this soon. Great stuff
