Hello! Long time viewer, infrequent poster here...

This week I did my first shoot with an actor/model who wanted a few shots to expand her portfolio. This was my first time doing this kind of shoot, in an improvised home studio in my flat. Lots of fun had by all! Lighting is all from off camera speedlites, either bounced off walls or through an umbrella. I've attached two of my favourite shots; more can be seen on http://bespokephotos.com/kirsty/ (external link) if you're interested.

Shot with Canon 5D mk2, mostly with 70-200 f4 IS, at f4, iso 100, 1/200s.

I would obviously like as much unqualified praise as you're willing to give, but mainly this was a learning exercise and I would appreciate constructive criticism and hints & tips for improving my technique.

Thanks, Steven :)

I would whiten her teeth just slightly in the 1st one because the yellow really stands out because of the white in her shirt and eyes.

maybe brighten/whiten the whites of her eyes on #2 to make them pop a little more? Also dodge the shadow under her nose/upper lip.
Great job!
