I'm almost about to pull the trigger on one of those eBay softbox studio lighting kits.
Specifically, this: http://cgi.ebay.com …ain_0&hash=item5ade1f484e
Has anyone had experience with them?

Problem is I was trying to use it as a fill in for a strobe and it just wouldn't cut it. It might work well with video though, I dunno. I guess it just depends on what you are looking to use it for.

A vase on a stool, etc. You can't play the shutter speed game with continuous lights, and they're on the weak side, so you're going to be any of the following: high ISO, slow shutter, wide aperture. Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here
