A few from me... I've not used this lens too much lately (purposely - trying to show some love to my other lenses, because they were getting jealous of the 35L, heheh)

very cool shot moedizzle! I need to get more creative with my 365 but I work literally from dusck to dawn right now and I'm waiting for my lgihting gear to get here.

Todd I love that first shot. The water is like glass and I'm really liking the lone tree out there. I'm actually doing the opposite and forcing myself to use this more as I usually prefer the telephoto's for most shots. Might head downtown tonight to see what I can get with this.

Great shots and pp as usual Jamey. A friend of mine brought up a funny point the other day. We spend thousands of dollars on gear to get the "sharpest", "clearest" and most "color accurate" photos possible and then adjust all of that in processing to give it a more gritty look. I couldn't even begin to explain how and why because I couldn't really give a good answer except to call it controlled chaos, if that makes any sense at all.

It's funny you mention that because my fiancee told me that the other night. She said I spend all this money on nice equipment and I make it "blurry" / "hazy" and sometimes add artificial flare when people avoid that stuff. The film look can be really neat.

Nice pics indeed mxracer.

Thank you sir.

haha yah it makes sense, and ive been thinking the same thing lately...here i have a $1000+ lens and a $1000+ camera only for me to take the pics and edit them to look like shots taken with a film camera that i can get (and have 3 of) for like $30....kind of not practical. Oh well i guess lol

Just look at Jamey's post above and you'll see the potential ;) Seriously though, it's a great lens on pretty much any body and it really shines on a FF sensor. I don't think you'll regret it.

i was set on either this or a 24L but the price difference between the two is a bit much for me. i think im gonna set with the 35 for now. then save up for my own holy trinity of primes.
