No man you'll be fine. My GTI is lowered so it just is totally the wrong vehicle to take out there. Even someone with something like a Subaru Impreza would be fine.

The only area that's a little dodgy is called Slab City and there is some parts of deep sand out there.

GTI! Love that car.. And the people that need rides don't really live all that close to each other. (Huntington Beach, Arcadia, etc) How are we going to make that work? o.o

I love it! My first copy had a speck (sesame or bread crumb or something) behind the front element and front focused a bit, but my second copy is near perfect(maybe a bit of front focusing sometimes)! It's sharp wide open (although this is my first prime and I don't have another to compare it with), the focus is fast when there's a decent amount of light, the build quality is great compared to my other lens, and it almost hasn't left my camera since I got it. The only things that I don't like about it is the foot and a half MFD and the manual focus ring. But yeah... It's great! xD

Ok guys.

We will meet at Irvine Spectrum by 8:30 at the latest. Sound ok? We still need 1 more driver if possible as there are at least 5 of us, but only room for 4 in Alex's Jeep. I'll see if I can find another person to go with us that has a truck or something.

My car's out as well. Smooth pavement's fine, but nothing rougher, please.

I'm hoping at this point that we'll have decent weather - Friday's looking at possible rain, and no telling for Saturday.

According to my weather apps, on saturday it's going to be clear and cool out there. Clouds may roll in a bit later. High of 63, low of 40 so it's going to be relatively cool out there. Doesn't look like any rain though.

Still looking for another vehicle.

Sunrise sounds great - especially if there's some scattered clouds...
If it's about a 2 hour drive, leaving around 3:30-4:00 am sounds more appropriate to catch sunrise.

Gotta agree with Charles. If we're going to try to catch sunrise we have to leave eeeaaaarrrllyyyy. We still need another driver though.

Jarias said he would be +1, but we haven't heard from him in a while.
