Another Albany local here. Patiently waiting until spring when the weather warms up a bit and there's more than 45min of daylight left by the time I get home from work. Hoping to pick up a 17-40L and tripod soon. What is everyone looking forward to Photography wise in 2011?

I have two things I really want to get out and shoot this year.

1. Pretty much anything in the Adirondacks

2. Some B+W nights shots of some of the side/back streets in Albany. There are some pretty cool little places on some of the less traveled roads.

Sounds similar to what I am looking forward to doing this year. ADK's are a biggie for me too. Even though its nothing new, I can't wait to go down to the State Capitol/South Mall for a session. I'm just really hoping my schedule can match my ambition for what I want to shoot this year. Can't get better if I don't get out there and learn from my mistakes.

Originally from Binghamton, grew up in Greene (the town, not the county). Living in SE Pennsylvania now, but still get up to NY a lot. Parents still there. And fishing camp on Black Lake. Love it there - spread my ashes when I'm gone. :D

All I want is just a little more than I'll ever have.

Grew up outside Cooperstown. Gotta admit, I don't miss it at all.
