The files that showed corrupt in Lightroom showed corrupt in DPP as well. Sounds like it could be HDD. It's weird though that I have no problem with anything else other than my photos. When I shoot them in raw, the files show corrupt in lightroom instantly. In Jpeg, they show fine until almost final editing and then they show a line through the picture with one side looking normal color and monochrome on other. The RAW pics almost either turn black or have the bright neon colors on them. The jpeg's never do that. Thanks again.
That can come with a bad card or, occasionally, from a card reader going bad or an I/O problem (USB cable, etc).
First, if you don't have a backup card, get one! That should be a no-brainer from the start because, well, you need one! Try a backup card and if the problem goes away, use the backup and if you want, you can do a low-level format on your original card and test it out, or just toss it and get a new one. I think most of us tend to toss the bad one because we don't want to risk the problem repeating itself.
If a replacement card doesn't fix it, then start troubleshooting your card reader and I/O. Different reader, different cables, different ports, something is causing this. Import to a different disk drive if you suspect that.
