QUESTIONNNNNNNN

hey im not so familiar with the EOS 3 so im hoping someone can shed some light.. but i noticed that the EOS 3 has a battery grip on it.. but on the handle side, is that a over lapping piece of leather covering the handle side? is that just for the EOS 3 version or like a Canon thing for all models?

Here's some from the way back machine. Sorry I don't have better pictures of them, I wasn't really into shooting pictures of my gear yet. This collection is from 2005-2007.5

Iirc the grip comes off, probably to change the battery or something similar. The battery grip is comprised of the portrait and vertical grips (up to the grip material, not the shutter release area).

The grip for the film canon cameras has that part that covers the grip of the camera as well.

ohhhhh thats pretty interesting. it would of been cool if they made that for all models.. i kind of like how it covers up the separation between the grip and the camera so it actually looks like a whole piece. =\.. canon probably thought it was a waste of money to produce

Oh they charged you for it, make no mistake.

If only Canon would design grips that looked as good today.

I'm not that loaded, just conservative with my finances, and sporting a tendency to let it all drift towards gear :D
