I don't usually post my photos, but I kind of liked this wolf, and the flamingo! I shot both these today. All I did with the wolf was convert to BW, and lighten the eyes. Both shot wide open, I never use the lens, but really need to start using it more...

Those are very nice - you definitely need to use that lens more! :)

Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.

Thanks, I just noticed that there were some smudges in the wolf pic this morning, so I removed them, but have struggled to get the same size posted with my watermark of the new image....oh well, better than having smudge marks I guess.....and yes I do need to use this lens more.....thanks for the kind words...

Was at the airport this morning, it was hazy. Just when I gave up because of the freezing cold, the sun started shining. Will give spotting another try in the summer :p

Is this a good price? a 2006 canon 70-200mm L IS version for $900, in excellent condition, comes with box, bag, hood, and caps.

These are gorgeous. Would you mind sharing your settings and equipment used?

I missed your question first time round so apologies for not answering at the time, pics were with a 5D and a 580ex in an umbrella

few more pics I took with this lense last year, all with 7D

(kick ass ;))

My first post. :)

I've been trying to decide between several lenses, and this thread has helped me decide on the 70-200L IS. So it's ordered, and hopefully will arrive by mid next week.

By the looks of things, I'll need to head out and find some ducks!

Cheers
Sean

Beautiful! I agree, it's such a great lens to carry around. Wish it had a built in hood like the 300 though...but of course it's not feasible because of the various mechanisms in the way.
