Hi all, I've only had my T2i (my first dslr) for a few months but am hooked on what it can accomplish. The shots posted in this thread are very inspiring! Here are a few pics I've taken recently. The first two with the 18-55mm kit and the cat shot with the 50mm 1.4.

I really like the motorcycle shot. I've been meaning to go camp out on the sidewalk up town to get a shot of a passing vehicle like that, but it's been just too damned cold :(

Did tonight on a whim. Working with what I had on hand, a large vehicle to get a high angle from on top, a tripod, and my T2i.

Plan on doing a fun short video in the coming weeks just to experiment and fill my reel with stuff that doesn't suck.

Took couple shots today for my 365 project.
First one is a bit experimental cause i didn't get a chance to get out to photograph.

so the shots with the 18-55, where those normal AF shots or did you use "special" settings.. looks like the ocean one was a timed elapse? Still waiting for my camera to arrive.. Can't wait to start taking photos like these!

Congratulations! It's a fine camera, and will take awesome pictures. The Nifty Fifty will really come through for you.

Congrats mate.
That's meant to be one of the best Canon lenses there is.

Funnily enough a lot of pros say it's their favourite portrait lens, which I've never understood because on a crop camera you'd be way too close!
