I received my 7D today also. There must have been some additional discounts that I wasn't aware of since I was only charged $1286 (instead of $1387) for my 7D/28-135mm Combo. I think I'm going to sell the lens since I probably won't ever use it.

Still waiting on my flash. Did the items came from japan? Coz i was told my 580 exiiis coming from japan. It should still be under usa warranty right?

Mine came from Japan. Warranty card is for USA / Canada. Also, no custom fees charged.

Got my 5DII from Japan, took about 6 business days to be delivered by registered mail.

I called them up. They said it was shipped on the 6th, but the website says it was shipped on the 2nd. Hopefully i gets delivered by the end of this week.

Got my 580 ex ii today. It has the International Warranty card. How does that affect me just in case I need to bring it in?

You should also have a USA warranty card (they always include an International warranty card too). All Canon products from AAFES have a USA warranty.

Look at all of the documentation and double-check to make sure there isn't a USA card there...

I have turned the box inside out. No usa warranty card.

That's strange. I'd suggest calling AAFES' customer service, but finding someone that would actually understand the situation you're in would be difficult at best.

I wonder if it would be worth it to just let it go and only raise your concern to AAFES if there's an issue within the 1-yr warranty period? Odds are, there won't be any issues with the flash. I've also heard that Canon USA will usually warranty the item anyway, as long as you have a receipt showing that is was purchased in the last year. (I do know they are strict about the receipt and the one-year period.)
