Second time ever shooting the moon. Also, a really heavy crop. Used an EF-S 55-250mm. Manual focused and then used a 10 second timer to reduce shake. Any advice is appreciated!

Next day from above shot (this shot Sun 1/9), same set-up (70-200 L + 2.0x + 1.4x TC), upper atmosphere is much more settled, pict shows much more fine detail.

My stab at the moon, taken on Sunday evening (one of our first clear skies for ages, so it had to be done). 50D with 500L + 1.4TC.

My first ever try at the moon.
Shot this with a canon 1000D and kit lens hand held so it`s not the best but I quite like it for the first time. Hope you like it too
