Ouch. Yeah, I'm considering RE-11's, they are $3 cheaper a corner, lol. So it's basically same price, more grip, but will wear out quicker... Apparently they grip VERY well for a $250 tyre, but I like having the same tyres all round... And the 050's do a superb job in the wet.

And if you think $250/corner isn't bad... I got the whole set for $800! Was a club group buy though.

And i'm loving these photo's! Queenstown has some damn fine roads :D Speaking of cars appearing for a shot. I had a Dirty old gen 1 legacy boost past me as I was taking some shots. I love BC's :D :D

Stop it! You are making me want to come down there!

Actually toying with the idea of a road trip to the South Island next year, centered around War Birds over Wanaka on Easter weekend.

We would probably only go to War Birds for 1 day, but take the opportunity to see some of the south island, which we haven't done before, and drive some great roads like that one. Just have to work out what to do with the kids. The RX8 has plenty of room to take them with us, but we might have more fun without them.:lol:

Might even take some photos......

I like it too.
Maybe the stick could be a little more to the left and not so prominent, i.e. a little darker

So SS and Wendy live :) Hope both of you are doing well with your photography.

SS hows the 50 F1.2 working out for you?

hey tony yep all alive here too. been super busy leading up to christmas, had to keep some ppl waiting for their prints which i never like to do

love the 50L, it's not as sharp wide open as i'd hoped but at 1.6 its really nice, it almost lives on the 5Dii now.

also did some fireworks (external link) pics at new years, along with everyone else in auckland lol... put a few on my blog, got some ppl wanting to purchase some so that was nice. one of these days ill get that print of yours up on the wall lol
