And one from today. Not sure if I really like this one or not.

Ya know, I'm a prime guy and switch lenses maybe a bit more than most and I never really had a major dust problem with my old 5Ds. I would rocket blow them often and I always tried to turn off the camera before switching lenses. In fact IIRC Canon had cleaned my oldest 5D (I had it for 5years) twice and the new one only once. I never cleaned my sensor in any other way but the rocket blower. I guess I was lucky, huh?

Allen

I would say a lot smarter than me. I need to use my rocket blower more than i do. This 5dmk11 with the self clean is the bomb. Im only rocket blowing with it. Maybe some of that allen magic will roll my way:p

I agree. That is a killer feature on the 5DII. Doubt I'm smarter though.

I was at the post office when it opened this morning to pick up my 5D!

It was awkward to get used to at first after shooting with the 7D for a while, but now that I know most of the controls its not too bad. The AF is definitely a huge step back, but I'm not planning on shooting sports :)

My only ef lens is the 50/1.8, which will work for now. I'm planning on a sigma 24mm 1.8 macro and a 70-200 f4, then someday a 24-70L.

Now for the first day photos, feel free to critique!

Does the color temp. On the camera menu affect the image even shot at raw? I have mine set up to 5.5k and seemed very warm tone. So changed it to 6.6k still seems warm but not as bad. Any clue?
