Sunny and cool here in New Orleans. Here is a shot of some sun-ripened oranges....Canon 100 mm lens.

Does the color temp. On the camera menu affect the image even shot at raw? I have mine set up to 5.5k and seemed very warm tone. So changed it to 6.6k still seems warm but not as bad. Any clue?

Maybe this can help explain.

I sold off my 5D, missed it and picked up another one tonight. I'm happy again. :)

shoot it in raw. you can set it to any color you want in PP. Doesnt mean its what you want v/s what the program wants. color is very subjective to personal interpretation so theres a lot to color, but its just easier to shoot it in raw and use a calibration target in the scene and get it the way you want it to look

I've been learning more about editing, especially with RAW, and was able to rescue some blown highlights with some work in PS...

Outside senior shoot today......first one of my class of 2012 models! I played with my 17-40 and wide angle distortion.....kind of fun to do something a little out of my normal range.
