I would like to know how you can get that much in focus on the subject when shooting at f1.4?

Thanks again folks!

Yeah it's the 50 1.4.

First off, amazing shots. Very inspirational, please keep it up.

Also, I've noticed the bokeh on the 1.4 wide open often looks different in several other pics I've seen. Is this because you are using a FF camera so you get a better looking DOF or is it the distance away from the model that makes the difference?

Thanks

Jordan is the man with that 1.4!! Man.

Awesome shots! Only thing I do not like is the sky on number 1 seems washed out, unless that was the effect you were going for.

Thanks guys!

I would like to know how you can get that much in focus on the subject when shooting at f1.4?

Distance from subject also has an affect on dof. This should explain it hopefully, http://photography.about.com …kingpictures/ss/DOF_4.htm (external link)

Thanks Ron, appreciate it man!

Jordan is the man with that 1.4!! Man.

Awesome shots! Only thing I do not like is the sky on number 1 seems washed out, unless that was the effect you were going for.

Thanks haha, the sun was poking out when I took #1 so it was gonna be pretty much impossible to keep any kind of detail in the sky. Plus it was cloudy anyways so it would have just been a darkish gray.

Nice series, hard to choose a favorite, if I had to pick I'd pick the first one. Nice work.
