I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. Got a notice in the mail on Saturday. Looks like a lens has arrived from Japan. I'll be at the post office tomorrow in the AM to pick up.

Curious that it has to be picked up. I hope I don't owe duty. Fingers crossed......

Got my 580 ex ii today. It has the International Warranty card. How does that affect me just in case I need to bring it in?

For what it's worth, both my 40D battery grips came with international warranty cards only. Both were USA models with one grip purchased from Amazon and the other from Canoga Camera (local shop). If you read warranty card, Canon USA is listed as one of the service centers.

Got one of my lenses today. Package originated from Yokota AFB and came via registered mail. No duty charged, all I needed to do was sign for it at the P.O.

FWIW, lens came with US warranty card and CD manual.
