I like the purple L plate.

Hehe! I get that all the time. ;) It's actually black but, after usage outdoors in the sun it has turned into a purplish color. It makes sense since it's anodized aluminum. :)

I can show you my set up but, it would make you go blind.

If that's a genuine Canon lens hood, I'm impressed. ;-p

None of my old Mamiya Sekor lenses came with lens caps but they all came with UV filters. I haven't bothered to buy 77mm lens caps for them all (got 4) so at the moment, the UV filters make nice clear lens caps :D

Here's a Depth Of Field/Focus demo (external link) I made some years ago, to show what tilting the focal plane can do.

A simple but very effective demonstration, thanks.

QUOTED IMAGE

Muhahahahaha!;)

There are just 2 lenses that are left on my list to purchase.

The TS-e 24 II is one of them.

Maybe I could borrow yours, you know, keep it well oiled and all that....;)

I stopped using them a long time ago. :) Plus, I think it's a waste of money.

indeed.

However, i'll look for a good 77mm to use when getting shots with flying sparks, sand, or water. I got more important things to pay for right now, though, like excessive credit card bills ;)
