Same Megapixels but push up native ISO to 102,400. While H1 as 204,800 & H2 as 405,600.

1080p @ 120fps as well for high speed recording. :)

Keep continuous shooting speed the same.

I am sure in 5 years later those features or specifications will be old-fashioned and you or your next generations will ask for more and they will laugh on us, i don't know what the generations in 2020 want in a digital camera? I don't know when it will come to the limitation for digital camera that can't be going up anymore whether with pixels or ISO.

I haven't been this excited since they were about to announce the specs for the 5D replacement. (Remember the "leaked" photo of the 5D body cloaked in shadow") That eventually led to the release of a camera that was far from a homerun and didn't live up to my expectations. I'm almost confident that this time will be different.

I feel it in my bones.

More ISO = more dynamic range.

I like having the latitude of not having to deal with ISO noise.

This is exactly what I hope with the 1Ds IV but, I wouldn't count on it. :)

As for the 1Ds4... I just want it to clean the clock of Nikon and leap frog them by 3 years.

Based on the selling price of the 5D2, 1D4 & D3s the 1D4 appears to not sell that well as the 5D2 and D3s prices have remained constant since their introduction. A sign of high demand in my book.

I've done my own comparison with the 1Ds III and D3x. The noise is equally the same at ISO 100-400. When you starting going above that, the 1Ds III is clearly the winner even at ISO 3200. Let's hope Canon can leap frog the dark side. :)

What I noticed is Canon & Nikon 'seesaws' in technology advantage. Like right now I perceive Nikon having better bodies than Canon but back in the mid-00's Canon was the clear winner. I miss those days. :)

I have actually got a good feeling about this one.

The 5d follows the ds, not the other way around.

CR is good for short term rumor mongering. Long term rumor mongering I give it to NL.

For me a good indicator for forthcoming Canon product releases would be Nikon. If Nikon announces a 70-200mm VR II you can expect a 70-200mm IS II from Canon. If Nikon announces the D3s the 1D4 is not far behind.

So the question is what are the rumors pertaining to the D3X replacement?

On a related note expect the next prime lens to be updated to be the 35/1.4L because of the Nikkor and Carl Zeiss equivalent shipping.

5D2 replacement will be on shelves by December. Then again I could be wrong.

I'd like to see a new 35 L and 24-70 MK II to launch with the new 1Ds IV. :)
