No, they do not work with the V4's, from all the reviews that I've read. Eric

Do you mean how you connect to the light meter? From my understanding the light meter triggers the flash trigger through the pc cable. There is a mono to pc cable connector so this should work. The cactus v5 does trigger through the external port. Cameras: Canon 60D and 20D

Took them out and reloaded the batteries got about six shots then dead. Transmitter I guess. I don't need the hassle. I'm going to try a set of these. I like the 2.4 ghz a lot better for powered model controllers so maybe this is the way to go.

But it was so cheap to replace. But with me getting more clients and trying to shoot more, I want something I know is reliable and won't break the bank. I can't wait until tomorrow to order these! Are there any major advantages to upgrading to these? Sync speed is no better...Whats the deal? Transceiver design. Is the main one for me so I can do on axis key.. And the ability to use as a shutter trigger. You do have to buy a cable for your camera I think its under 6$ its gonna be supposedly released along side the cactus v5. Also 2.4 has better distance and is more reliable. I never had problems with my v4's in reliability though. Also the ability to trigger each flash individually and then altogether is nice for seeing how each light effects the subject. So its up to you. Since I don't have 2 sets right now I use it as a wireless shutter release. Cameras: Canon 60D and 20D
