Fan-damn-tastic, even. I wouldn't have guessed those shots were possible with the 70-200. I need to get busy learning how to use that thing!

You and me both. So hard to shoot outdoors when you got -25 degree wind chills in the windy city. Whats worse is my 2x III extender arrives tomorrow.

Can't even remember the last time I saw the sun.

Nice shot Rich. Looks like we had the same idea tonight. This is about a 100% crop since the 70-200 II was naked.

I'm in the exact situation. Have had the 2x III for a couple of weeks and it's too dang cold to give it a good trial. Only 2 months to go!;)

I don't know why I keep clicking on this thread?????? Makes it harder for me to be patient enough to wait until I have the cash to pay for one of these instead of putting it on a card!

Great pics everyone!

I have money in the bank from selling my MK I lens to buy this. But yes the price is climbing, plus I keep clicking on the Canon 300mm 2.8 L IS thread which doesn't help in my decision making.

That's an all wood boat. Not to many of them still around or being made anymore. Great capture.
