Glad to see so many new pictures.

2010 was a successful year for me!

Had a wonderful time in North Central Pennsylvania (Elk County). Harvested a great 7 point, a pretty nice sized deer for the Allegheny National Forest. The deer is already processed and provided some great meals so far.

Used a Remington Model 700 BDL in .270 w/ Remington 150gr. @ about 75 yards.

Great pics & congrats on the hunt.

Don't suppose you grabbed a Belly Buster at the Halton Hilton while you were in the area?

Couple from this season so far...

These were all taken with my old 35mm & then scanned so they're not the clearest, but after dunking our digital a few years back my wife has banned me from taking out "the good camera" for waterfowl hunts. :)

Cupped & committed...

IMAGE: http://photo-mojo.net/stuff/decoy.jpg

This was back in 2007. Overcast and foggy morning. Had to use the damn 18-55 kit lens. Was also my first hunt. Decoys are out and we are waiting. Was good. Bagged my limit first day out.

I never knew how bad a marsh could smell till the point we started moving and got all those gasses in the mud churned up.

This is embarassing as I have been going up there for over 30 years, but where is the Halton Hilton?

I shot this buck from my garage -about 25 feet away. Guess I'm lazy since I prefer to shoot from my inside my house. BTW: I only shoot digital, not with gunpowder.

Kept seeing these ladies when I was deer hunting and thought, "I can't shoot em' with my rifle, but I can shoot em' with my 100 f2.0." Got within 25 yards of these 3 hens...was pretty cool for my first wildlife shoot.

Paulandmackenzie

if you dad needs an extra gun let me know

that looks like a good spread of deeks and a rather "ducky spot"

as for the composition of the picture :
all he need is a couple of DRAKE or AVERY logos flashing in the sunrise and this one could be in a catalog

good job

Besides retrieving birds, he likes to play catch with snow balls. The colder it is, the better he likes it!! After picking up all the decoys we played around in the filed for a while before calling it a day...

Went through all 34 pages and didnt see any beagles. So figure I'd join in. This is my dad after our day. My dad gave me my first pup when I was 12 or 13, I trained him as often as I could and wanted him to be the best. Well once I got out of highschool I didnt have time to hunt so I gave my dog back to my dad who. Which he still is the only stud we breed our girls with. Wished I had some pictures of him, I will try to find some to scan.
