Pro Camera Repair converted 30D. I think it's the 730nm coversion. Thanks for the compliments! I'm really having fun with IR. Thought process is a little different than regular photography.

I pulled their website up via Google (at least I think this is them: http://www.professionalcamerarepair.com/ (external link)) but didn't see anything about IR conversions. What can you tell me about the service? Was it good to go?

Pro Camera Repair is in San Diego. Service was excellent. From the time I sent it to getting it back was about a week and a half. Not bad from San Diego to Hawaii! Here is their website...

Ah! Thank you for the correction on the website. My Google-fu stinks today I guess.

I think I'm going to make the jump when I get home and send in my old Rebel that's been sitting in the garage. Now to decide whether to go with the 720nm or the 830nm.

The 830nm filter will only allow you to capture black and white. That's the reason I went to the 720nm. I like to inject some color in my IR photos...

is it possible to pump colors into an IR image like this using the R72 filter? are these pretty close to the raw images? i wish i could afford to have a camera converted.

I think it's possible if I'm not mistaken your filter is a 720nm which is the same as what's over my sensor. Post an unedited jpeg (don't swap the color channels) and let me try.
