Nice, full frame. Now they need to ditch 6x4.5 and move to 6x6 or 6x7. :p

The one he linked is just for the 645 that's right. There is a back for the RB67 to attach to a Phase One but I'm not sure which back that is. Phase One and Mamiya Digital are partnered.

Even the Mamiya 56MP back isn't full 6x7 though. Sadly film is still better there. Scanned at 9600DPI you get the equivalent of 500MP with 6x7 film!!! The depth of field is incredibly thin too, 645 is much smaller and narrower so you don't get the same DOF at all by the time you frame it the same.

Its very weird! I need to get used to it/calibrate it better. I still think I'll end up using selected focus points.

i had an Elan 7e and the eye control was dead on EVERY time. I always LOVED it.

I just got one and absolutely agree with you, though I'm sticking with the center point for now...

^ A tribute to the incompetence of modern camera manufacturers.

EDIT: Okay, that's a bit harsh, but I am really frustrated that there is no compact FF DSLR on the market.

If canon made a manual focus only body, no review screen, none of the other settings we now take for granted, a tiny battery, and minimize the connections available, I would guess you could fit it in a simialr sized camera to an AE-1.

Well I came across a poor little Pentax P3 with a SMC-A 50mm f/2 lens sitting on a shelf at the local Goodwill and I had to take it home with me. $14
