So my buddy with a Nikon is looking for lens, I was going to recommend this Tamron. But when I got on Amazon to copy the link, I see the Nikon version has 30 reviews averaging 3.5 stars, and the Canon version has 150 reviews averaging 4.5 stars. Is the Nikon version really not as good?

Looks like the nikon version is having trouble with proper contact to the camera...

+1 also ask for C&C, alot ppl ignore the mediocre pics and go ape **** over good ones (go look in the strobe/multi strobe thread)
