man, that sucks about Cat Power, but you really didn't miss much at all, photography-wise.

but...i would have stuck around for the show. hell, Jim White was on drums, how can you walk from that?!

I thought about it, I think I was still on a post-Grinderman high from the Monday night.

Sunday it's the Big Day Out - some of the acts I'm really looking forward to shooting are:
Iggy and The Stooges
Rammstein
Primal Scream
Grinderman
Tool
Lupe Fiasco

And a heap more.

Umphrey's Mcgee on Saturday. It has been a while since I've gotten out. Mostly out of laziness.

Ended up shooting a Jon Bon Jovi benefit show at Starland Ballroom. Maybe I should say the security never checked for my camera.

The Rev. Horton Heat on Sunday. It'll be a challenge. Its another semi-energetic band playing in an armpit that forces the use of ISO expansion and barely enough shutter speed to stop a turtle.

HAHAHA. It was for the Parker Family Health Center which is a clinic in Red Bank (near his home) that offers health care for people without it. Mostly covers, some JBJ songs, local special guests and about 2000 people in a very intimate setting.

I was trading some emails with good "OLD" Dwight and we happen to share who we are shooting tonight.

So I thought it might be fun to start a thread with who you are snapping this weekend.

U.S. Congressman Allen West's first townhall meeting.
