Here are two images from a posing and lighting workshop that I taught last Saturday.

Gorgeous, perfect lighting, great sharpness, and like the compositions.

"Wow!" is the first thing I thought when I saw these beautiful shots. Great lighting and excellent PP on the skin. Well done.

She comes across very nice in the photos, but I must say I can't stand the backgrounds (last BG is nice, though).

In image #1, there are some light specs on the carpet (is that carpet?) that could be removed. Makes it look like dirty carpet IMO.

In the second image, the BG looks like it's in motion blur, not really the look I'd go for in a portrait.

Third image, the BG with the waterfall, that type of BG just seems dated. Perhaps it's a matter of personal taste and I should keep my mouth shut?

Pretty simple. Main (a medium softbox) at camera right rear aimed down and forward and a background light (normally this would be my hair light) aimed from above the subject backward toward the background. Fill behind the camera. Fill was f/5.0, background was f/5.0 and the main was f/9.0.

Nice shots ,good exposure, but a little too generic for my taste, specially the backgrounds. Just my 2 cents.
