Spent the weekend in Daytona. I've shot some racing in the past, but this seemed like a whole new ball game. I would be very interested in hearing comments, criticisms, etc. I'd like to do more of this type of shooting.

Thanks!

They were taken from the public areas which, in some cases, were only ten feet or so from where the credentialed shooters were. There was a chain link fence to contend with, but I picked up a one foot step stool at Target (ten bucks). At 6'2", that's all the extra boost that I needed...

yea, as long as you had a step stool or whatnot, a lot of the public areas were great. I was there as well.

I found a section of fence watching the entrance to the second horseshoe that had relief cuts in the middle, was able to shoot through there quite well; I will definitely remember to bring a small step stool next time.

Turner was present and ran, although the car had quite it's share of problems; #94 in GT.

Looked like there were a lot of holes that they covered with new chain link...

#8 is very nice. I like it.

I also like the sparks on #3. I assume that was just after the #45's excursion in the infield.

Huh? That's easy pickings shooting at 1/1000 or higher. Slow for show. :)

I like the motion blur pans. They're fine.
