Almost everyone seems to getting tack sharp images. I am sure I will learn how to handle this lens pretty well.

Great shot Ron! I would love to be there sometime for the Pipe Masters.

Nice shots Evan!

Two from me, taken in front of my house this morning. Still try to get used to it. And the weather doesn't help a lot.

I need some advice. Iknow I have seen this post on here but can not find it and hope I am in the right place if I am not sorry . I want to get the 400 f5.6 . I called to order it today . I have the 70 to 200 f 2.8 is. When I wanted to order the lens they want me to get the 2x tc. Yay or nay ? Will there be much difference between the lens I have with the tc and the prime lens . Would I be happier just getting the 400 . I want the auto focus to work properly .. Help I am confuse what route to take

The 400mm prime will be substantially sharper than a 70-200 with 2x TC
Plus auto focus will be an issue with the 2x unless you have a 1d body. In my opinion you are getting poor advice & I would seriously think about going elsewhere.
The 400mm prime for me all day every day.
