Only you can decide what you -should- do, but both would be great investments. Also note that your awesome 18-55 :rolleyes: will not work with the 5D so you will miss that range.

Of course the 5D will be much better than your XS, just like the 24-70L will be much better than your 18-55.

Straight from the 5d. No editing except B&W in camera. Still waiting for my new laptop to arrive. Writing this on an ancient machine which short circuits when I try to boot CS5.
It's not the best shot, its actually a pretty crappy one technically. I forgot I didn't have it set in manual mode so I had a ridiculous shutter time even though I used a flash. It's still in focus though.

Lots of old stuff but hey I am a student
