So on other forums there are threads that are "rate the photo above you". The rules are simple Rate the photo above you and give it a score out of ten for example 6/10 then give a short sentence why you gave it that rating. Try to keep the text to a minimum if possible. There is no certain theme to the pictures you post just post one picture that you like... you can post as much on here a day as you'd like as well/

I'll start us off. I apoligize but I don't know how to embed pictures from flickr. So here is the link
http://www.flickr.com …in/set-72157625884175526/ (external link)

edit = CyberDyneSystems

New Rule.
You can not follow up a critique/Share after the person that critiqued/rated your photo!

i give it a 6 out of 10. i like the composition and the gas from the barrel but i dont like the guy who looks like he is sauntering along behind him in blue. it ruins the mood of the picture for me.

here is mine

I give it a 5 out of 10. My eye is drawn to the light patch of grass, which isn't really particularly interesting. Pretty sunset, looks like neat houses, but they are in the shadows of the photo. Great start, keep at it!

I'll play, see how far this thread makes it. 3/10. It's just a device (I'm not a musician... no clue what it is) on the floor, not much interesting about it.

Bring up the photo on Flicker that you want to embed. Then right click on it, choose the size you want. Once that size photo comes up right click on your photo and choose copy image location. Then you click on quote in this forum. If you look at the menu bar above the text area you will see a little yellow square with a mountain on it. This is the insert image icon. Click on that and when that comes up then copy the data from your photo at flicker in the space provided. Then click on preview post to make sure that your photo shows up. Let me know if this helped you figure it out, if not I can take some screen shots that will explain it better.

7/10 I like how well you captured the iris in her eye and the sun on her hair. I think this is a great idea. Good way to really show the varied colors in our eyes.

By the way I think this thread is a great idea. Good way to get feedback and give cc to others.

Ok, I'll play..:D 4/10 - The colors are very nice, but the composition is flat, and there is too much black at the bottom - also, the tree limbs are not very sharp (could be motion or focus, can't tell).

6/10. I like the composition, but Im left wanting to see more of the rocks at the right. Its a tad underexposed. Also, the thing at the right that looks like a lens flare is distracting. Not bad, though.

7/10 good colors, but composition is distracting - I'm not sure what to look at - eye is drawn to dark clouds on the left.

8 out of 10. i love the colors and the composition. the sense of perspective is used well. but i can see some spots in the middle of the picture. patch those up.

6/10. Beautiful colors and good composition , but I'm not so fond of contrast and it seems a bit underexposed. (though maybe on purpose)
