Good evening, It has been ages since I have been here but I am back.

My name is Heather and I am from Michigan. I have been doing photography for a few years now and I am learning so much but really have a long ways to go.

I thought I would share a few of my very first newborns that I did a couple weeks ago. Feel free to cc them and let me know what I can improve on. All of these were done with natural light.

Thanks guys. #1 has been the favorite among family and friends also. I got nice and happy sleepy babies that day. I was over the moon. Thanks for the comments. please feel free to cc them also. I think I see some issues. The biggest is consistent skin color.

I LOVE them all and don't have anything to say but stunning! I love what you did with pic #3. What did you use for a background? I've always wanted to do a pose like this.

Not a pro by any means.. Just enjoy taking pics.

those are precious!

Yea a few issues with matching skin tones but the poses and compositions are so well done!

and that little smile in #1? Perfect!!!

love #7 - it's my favorite but it's very hard to tell where his eyelids are, etc. Like maybe it's a bit "hot"?

1 is adorable! Nice work. 3 and 6 are a little blown out. But 3 could work as a high key image, but I think it would be better if your brought down the brightness.

Thank you all very much on your comments. I will work on the brightness.

Michille, I used a 53" x 12 yards seamless paper from Savage. I think this is the chestnut color.

#1&3 are my absolute favorites!! Nicely done! #8 looks like focus was missed and is on the throw, but otherwise cute! :)

How did you get those darling babies to smile in their sleep? These are really great. I'm just getting into newborn photography. Will post my first attempts soon....not as good as yours... :)
